DTF (Direct to Film) Garment Care involves specific steps to maintain the quality of prints on garments that have been decorated using the DTF printing method. DTF printing uses a transfer film, heat, and pressure to apply vibrant designs onto fabrics. To keep your DTF-printed garments looking fresh, here’s how to care for them:

Washing Instructions
Turn garments inside out: This helps protect the print and prevents direct abrasion during washing.
Wash in cold water: Use cold water (preferably under 30°C or 86°F) to preserve the print. Hot water can cause the print to fade or peel over time.
Gentle cycle: Choose a gentle or delicate cycle to avoid rough washing, which can affect the durability of the print.
Avoid fabric softeners: Fabric softeners can break down the adhesive used in the DTF process, leading to peeling or fading.

Drying Instructions
Air dry or tumble dry low: The best option is to air dry your DTF garment by hanging it up or laying it flat to prevent any damage from high heat. If you prefer using a dryer, set it to a low heat to avoid melting or warping the print.
Avoid direct heat exposure: If you're using an iron, avoid placing it directly on the print. Use a pressing cloth or turn the garment inside out if you must iron it. Direct heat can damage the print.

Storing DTF Garments
Keep away from direct sunlight: Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause the print to fade. Store garments in a cool, dry place, away from UV rays.
Avoid folding the print area: If the garment has a print that’s in a prominent area, try not to fold it directly on that spot, as it could cause cracking or wear over time.

Additional Tips
No bleach: Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals that could break down the adhesive or the print.

Spot clean when necessary: If the garment has small stains, spot cleaning can be a good option to preserve the print. Use mild detergent and a soft cloth.
